Inaugurated in 1909, the mythical Twickenham Stadium received many matches. These battles have built its history and forged its legend.
It was in this arena, one evening in March 1988, that the « Swing Low, Swing Chariot », emblematic English rugby song, was born. More than being a simple stadium, “Twickers” is also a museum which retraces rugby history. Twickenham, with its 82 000 seats, is now one of the biggest stadiums in the world.
